Dr. Ronnetta Sartor believes that comprehensive patient care begins with truly understanding her patient's needs, concerns, and goals. With a deep commitment to delivering exceptional dentistry and fostering a trusting environment, Dr. Sartor ensures every patient feels comfortable and confident in the care that they receive. Dr. Sartor's journey in dentistry began at the MUSC James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine, where she graduated in 2017. Her dedication and compassion were recognized early, earning her the John Meador Sneed Award for “A Genuine Love and Concern for Others: A Talent for Practical Accomplishment" and preserving to become a Dr. Raymond Greenberg Presidential Scholar. In 2018, she completed a rigorous General Practice Residency at Palmetto (Prisma) Health Richland Hospital, where she gained valuable experience in handling complex dental cases. Her approach to dentistry is shaped by years of advanced training and experience. She has attended some of the most prestigious programs in dental education, including her recognition as a Fellow in the American College of Dentistry, Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, and a Dawson Scholar—a testament to her expertise in complete dental care and functional dentistry. She gives back to the profession of dentistry by volunteering at WellPartners dental clinic as well as being a co-author of the Beyond Graduation eBook and co-host on the Beyond Graduation Podcast. Beyond her impressive credentials, Dr. Sartor is known for her warm chairside manner and dedication to the overall well-being of her patients. She emphasizes the importance of oral health as a cornerstone of complete health, helping patients not only achieve beautiful smiles but also improve their overall quality of life. Chloe has been a valued member of Lugoff Smiles for many years and is a Certified Dental Assistant with experience in both clinical and front office roles. Her well-rounded knowledge allows her to bridge the gap between patient care and administrative support—especially when helping patients understand their insurance and treatment options. Chloe loves being able to make a difference in people’s lives by helping them achieve healthier smiles and seeing the positive changes that follow in their overall confidence and well-being. She has also completed her nitrous oxide certification, further expanding her ability to support patients’ comfort and care. Outside of the office, Chloe enjoys spending time with her dog, hunting with her husband, and staying active—she played soccer for several years throughout high school. She values the strong relationships she’s built with her coworkers and the supportive, uplifting environment at Lugoff Smiles.
With over three decades of experience in dental hygiene, Susan brings a wealth of knowledge, skill, and compassion to the Lugoff Smiles team. She believes in treating each patient as a whole person—not just a mouth—and values the relationships she’s built over the years with patients who have come to feel like friends and family. Susan takes pride in doing her best every day and being a dependable team player. She regularly participates in continuing education courses, including topics such as infection control, HIPAA, and fluoride therapy, to ensure she provides the highest standard of care. Her goal is to help every patient maintain their dental health while feeling genuinely cared for and valued. Outside of the office, Susan enjoys reading, traveling with her husband, and spending quality time together—whether they’re exploring new destinations or on motorcycle rides.
Jessica has been a valued member of the Lugoff Smiles team for several years. As the Financial and Treatment Coordinator, she plays a key role in helping patients understand their treatment plans and financial options. Her warm and welcoming approach helps new patients feel at ease from their very first visit. She manages patient records, verifies insurance, and ensures that every detail is handled with care and accuracy. Jessica finds it deeply fulfilling to build trust with patients, contribute to the team’s success, and serve as the backbone of the practice. With strong communication, organization, and customer service skills, she ensures patients feel supported and informed throughout their dental journey. Outside of the office, Jessica enjoys camping and spending time with her husband and their four beautiful daughters. She has always had a passion for horses and loves to ride whenever she can. Before entering the dental field, Jessica worked in cosmetology for eight years—an experience that reflects her lifelong passion for helping others feel good about themselves. She loves working in dentistry and enjoys sharing what she’s learned about oral health with her friends and loved ones.
Lauren brings many years of experience to the Lugoff Smiles team and is dual-certified as a Registered Dental Hygienist and Expanded Function Dental Assistant, along with certification in nitrous oxide monitoring. Her combined clinical skills allow her to assist Dr. Sartor chairside and provide comprehensive hygiene care to patients of all ages. She’s passionate about helping patients feel comfortable at the dentist, especially those with dental anxiety, and loves making a difference in both their oral health and confidence. A member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA), Lauren stays current through continuing education offered by the South Carolina Dental Hygienists’ Association and online CE courses throughout the year. She values the close-knit, family atmosphere at Lugoff Smiles and takes pride in being part of a supportive team that truly cares for its patients. Outside the office, Lauren enjoys spending time with family, taking her niece and nephew to the movies, and teaching Sunday School at her church. In her spare time, she enjoys hand lettering, embroidery, and going to comedy shows and concerts.
Kelsi joined Lugoff Smiles in December 2022 after graduating from the Accelerated Dental Assistant Academy. She is a Certified Dental Assistant with additional certifications from the South Carolina Board of Dentistry in X-rays and nitrous oxide monitoring, as well as CPR, BLS, patient care, and phlebotomy. As Dr. Sartor’s right hand, Kelsi enjoys being directly involved in patient care and seeing the full-circle moments when improved oral health leads to renewed confidence. She treats every patient with compassion and care, striving to make each visit as comfortable as possible. Her attentiveness, kindness, and ability to explain each step of treatment help patients feel confident and informed throughout their dental experience. Originally from Maryland, Kelsi has lived in South Carolina for nearly two decades. She’s a proud mom to an energetic little boy, as well as a dog and cat mom. Outside the office, she enjoys football, fishing, four-wheeling, camping, photography, and trips to the Outer Banks—along with her love for seafood and the occasional snowy getaway.
